ABOUT DDCARDS (Digital Download Cards)DDCARDS provides musicians, producers, filmmakers and the media industry in general with a simple way to directly control the distribution of on-line digital media with a physical product. DDCARDS is pioneering this service in Spain and Europe, along with the help of experienced partners in the digital music sector. DDCARDS make high-quality, plastic download cards. The cards are physical items (similar to a thick credit card) with individual, unique download PIN codes printed on each card. Artists upload music/digital files to our secure site, order cards and then use the cards to sell or distribute as physical products. The download codes (DDCODES) correspond to the on-line content and are valid for one-time access to that customer (so 500 cards=500 downloads). It's that simple. The key concept for DDCARDS is the combination of the physical product (the plastic card with printed download PIN code) with a virtual on-line service (the secure download management service). Each product order we process includes these two things. The DDCARDS concept is also not exclusive to plastic cards. The plastic card is merely a convenient and attractive delivery item. We also sell stickers, tags, etc... which can be attached to other items, suddenly changing a Vinyl Record into a multimedia purchase. With a simple DDSTICKER, you can easily add on-line downloads of MP3 or WAV or VIDEO (any digital content) to your vinly release or to any other product as well. We can even sell just the digital download codes (DDCODES) for our clients to use in newsletter emails or as rewards for on-line promotional campaigns and contests.
